Why should I use Far 2 Kleen?

My vehicles paintwork is faded scratched and has swirly marks can you fix this?
Yes, we can correct this for you, we would need to see the vehicle and access the condition of the paintwork to see what level of correction is needed.
Do you offer a collection/delivery service?
Yes, we offer a full collection and delivery service.
Do I have to wait while my vehicle is worked on?
You do not have to be present while your vehicle is being worked on, we will keep you updated on the progress.
Do you offer a service for fleet and commercial customers?

Why should I use Far 2 Kleen and not an automated car wash?
The substances and detergents used are quite aggressive as they are designed to remove the dirt and road grime in the quickest possible time by the rollers. This leaves your paintwork with a huge number of minute scratches from the rotating rollers, that’ll eventually lead to faded paintwork and oxidisation. In case your car has suffered from frequent visits to an automatic vehicle wash and you’d like it to appear its best again, either for yourself or, maybe, because you’re thinking of selling it, then let us help. We can remove all the car wash damage by machine polishing the bodywork, then finish it off using a quality hardwearing wax, to make an astonishing finish.
My Vehicle has animal hair do you charge extra?
Animal hair removal is dependant on the amount and how severe it is as it can take hours to detail correctly.
How often should I have my vehicle detailed?
We recommend that the exterior is at least washed once a week, especially in winter, as road salt can cause damage to your paintwork if left on the vehicle for too long a period.
We also recommend that interiors should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks depending on how often the vehicle is used, this will, in turn, keep your car from an excess build of grime & dirt and will save you money in the long term.
Is there a cancellation fee?
48 hours notice for cancellations is required – less than 48 hours notice will be charged at £25 or 50% of the order, whichever is the greater.
However, if you do re-book your valet with us we will return the amount paid to us on completion.
If its raining does this affect my booking?
This will not affect the booking we have a fully functioning detailing workshop to cater to your every need.
Are you insured to work and drive my vehicle?
Yes, we are fully insured, vetted and certified also continually checked by checkatrade to ensure our customers know we are fully insured.

Do I need to book or just turn up?
It's advised that you contact us at least a week in advance due to other bookings.


Bookings

Far 2 Kleen may ask you where you heard about us in order to gauge our marketing strategies
Far 2 Kleen cannot guarantee any exact times when accepting your booking, an approximate time will be provided and upon request we will call you to notify we have completed the job.
Service times given by Far 2 Kleen are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfil the service requested.
Far 2 Kleen reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with machinery or equipment failure.
Far 2 Kleen reserve the right to take a deposit to secure the booking which if cancelled by you (the customer) within 7 days of the job date will be non refundable.
Far 2 Kleen reserves the right to refuse or deny any booking or continue with their service if they deem the customer to be unreasonable
Far 2 Kleen will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviours be encountered

Pricing

Prices charged by Far 2 Kleen are based on service type, type of car and condition of the vehicle. Any price quoted over the telephone is an estimate only and should be used as a guide and not a guarantee
Far 2 Kleen reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, and the type of vehicle Far 2 Kleen reserves the right to amend any price during the service should the condition not be as stated by the customer at the time of booking.
Far 2 Kleen reserves the right to refuse or deny additional service required that are not stated at the time of booking. Any additional services requested after the booking has been made will incur a charge in addition to the estimated price.

Credit Terms and Payment

Payment is due upon completion of your service. For invoices not settled upon completion of your valet or for payments returned unpaid, Far 2 Kleen reserves the right to charge interest on the overdue debt at 50% PA and an administration fee to cover its debt recovery costs and any other costs relating to the collection of payment.

Cancellation

Far 2 Kleen require a minimum 7 days notice for a cancellation. If this is not adhered to we reserve the right to charge a fee of £25 or half the cost of the service or not refund any deposit taken.
Far 2 Kleen reserve the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance with equipment failure without penalty to the company
Far 2 Kleen will carry out a Vehicle Inspection prior to commencement of work. The customer will be advised of any areas of concern regarding the condition of the vehicle. All vehicles are serviced at the customers own risk
Customers should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of service
Far 2 Kleen will not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in a vehicle whilst it is being serviced
All chemicals used by Far 2 Kleen are biodegradable and we have health and safety data sheets available in order to comply with Health and Safety legislation.
Far 2 Kleen has public liability insurance.
Far 2 Kleen will not be responsible for any paint flaking that occurs whilst cleaning the vehicle, only fully tested, high quality products are used. Paint flaking normally occurs when a vehicle has been re-sprayed and the body shop/car repairer has not followed correct procedures for preparing the cars body/plastics.
Far 2 Kleen will not be responsible for long term wheel damage. This normally happens when the customer or previous car wash personnel have cleaned the wheels with an acid based material. Far 2 Kleen only ever use acid-free cleaning products that cause no damage to customers' wheels or to the environment.

Health and Safety

Far 2 Kleen operates in accordance to Health and Safety legislation and best practice and have a full and up to date Risk Assessment and Method Statement for all working procedures.

Claims

Advice of damage must be given in writing to Far 2 Kleen within 24 hours of completion of the service and any claim in respect thereof must be made in writing to the Far 2 Kleen within seven days of completion of the service. Far 2 Kleen shall not be liable in respect of any claim unless the aforementioned requirements have been complied with except in any particular case where the customer proves that (i) it was not possible to comply with the requirements and (ii) advice (where required) was given and the claim made as soon as reasonably possible.

Liability

Far 2 Kleen gives no warranties or guarantees or makes any representations as to the value, saleability or acceptance of condition by lease or rental company and all other warranties, conditions, guarantees or representations, whether express or implied, oral or in writing, except as expressly stated in these terms and conditions are hereby excluded. Far 2 Kleen shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, economic loss, loss of goodwill or loss of anticipated savings. The total aggregate liability of Far 2 Kleen in respect of any and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with the customer's service and Far 2 Kleen performance of services pursuant to such service (whether for breach of contract, strict liability, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise) shall be limited to the sums paid to Far 2 Kleen by the customer in respect of the service pursuant to which liability has arisen. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall be construed so as to limit or exclude liability which cannot, pursuant to English Law, be excluded or limited including for death or personal injury or liability in respect of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Data Protection

By making a booking with Far 2 Kleen, the customer consents to its details being recorded for accounting and marketing purposes. The details will be kept by Far 2 Kleen even after the customer's trading relationship with Far 2 Kleen has terminated. Far 2 Kleen may use the customer's personal data to let customers know about goods and services similar to the goods or services provided to the customer previously and any others matters that Far 2 Kleen consider may be of interest to customers.

Variation to Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time. The latest version of these terms and conditions may be accessed via the Website.

Law

These terms and conditions and all other express terms of the contract with customers shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law. English Courts shall have jurisdiction in relation to any matters arising in connection with any contract between Far 2 Kleen and the customer into which these terms are incorporated.
